Building strong professional networks locally and nationally can be critical to your success as a kaiako and provide the support that every kaiako needs from time to time - in fact that's how you can get to be your very best! Mā te mahitahi ko te eke panuku, ko te ako panuku!

Hui ā-Tau 2018

Hui ā-Tau 2018 will bring together members of the three Ako Panuku communities in a professional forum to collaborate, network and and share over two days of workshops and plenaries on issues affecting leadership, te reo Māori and the teaching of pūtaiao.

Taumata Kōrero

Taumata Kōrero is a series of conversations with kaiako who have spoken with us in the hope that their stories will inspire other kaiako Māori to keep teaching, and to be the best kaiako they can be.

Te Pōkai Kākākura

Join your peers in Te Pōkai Kākākura to support the development of Māori leadership in kura, schools and wharekura throughout Aotearoa. Membership is FREE.

Te Kāhui Kaiako Reo Māori

Te Kāhui Kaiako Reo Māori is a national community for Māori language teachers and others who share an interest in the teaching and learning of te reo Māori (e.g., Māori-medium kaiako and tumuaki, principals and school leaders, professional development facilitators, academics).

Te Kāhui Kaiako Pūtaiao

If you are interested in promoting science through a Māori worldview, join other like-minded kaiako in our national community of pūtaiao and science teachers.
