Te Paepae Kōrero - Ko ngā taumata kōrero o Ako Panuku

Following on from the Teachers' Journey Project, aiming to support and develop discussion around career pathways for Māori in education, Ako Panuku is excited to share another profile series; showcasing the rewards of hard work and determination in realising career goals.

Created with the career conscious kaiako in mind, Te Paepae Kōrero will tell the stories of individuals, discuss the challenges they faced and the achievements they gained. They will also offer advice for others planning their career pathway.

What drives them to be the best teacher they can be? What does the future hold for them? How do they cope when the going gets tough? Who do they turn to for support? These are the questions they will address in this rich resource, developed to encourage reflection and motivate us all to think critically about our career possibilities.
